Ludueña is making his second Championship start. In his Latin America Amateur debut in 2024 in Panama, he finished T-8 and his third-round 66 included an eagle at the par-five 10th followed by four consecutive birdies on holes 11-14. In 2024, he won four World Amateur Golf Ranking events with victories in Argentina and Italy. In 2023, he won the Argentine Amateur Championship and represented his country in the Eisenhower Trophy in Abu Dhabi.
