Sandoval is making his first Championship start in 2026. In 2025, he won World Amateur Golf Ranking events in Chile, Peru and Ecuador, finished third in the South American Junior Championship in Paraguay and represented his country in both the Junior Pan American Games in Paraguay and the Toyota Junior World Cup in Japan.
