Alverio is making his seventh Championship start in 2026. In 2025, he won the Puerto Rico Mid-Amateur Championship and finished third in the North Atlantic Amateur in New Jersey and T-8 in the Caribbean Amateur Championship in Barbados. He has represented Puerto Rico in nine editions of the PGA Tour’s Puerto Rico Open and in five editions of the Eisenhower Trophy.
