Gibson Jr. is making his fourth Championship start in 2026. In 2025, he finished runner-up in the Bahamas National Amateur Championship and T-16 in the Caribbean Amateur Championship in Barbados. In 2024, he won four World Amateur Golf Ranking events, including the Bahamas National Amateur title. He competed in the U.S. Mid-Amateur in both 2023 and 2024.
