Quiroga is making his second Championship start. In 2024, he won two World Amateur Golf Ranking events in Bolivia and finished T-15 in the South American Junior Championship in Uruguay. His older sister Constanza has won at least six World Amateur Golf Ranking events in each of the past two years and represented Bolivia in the 2023 Women’s World Amateur Team Championship in Abu Dhabi.
