Xavier is making his seventh Championship start in 2026. He has five top-20 finishes in the Latin America Amateur, including three top-10 performances. In 2025, he won seven World Amateur Golf Ranking events, including a 10-stroke victory in the Brazilian Amateur. He also finished T-6 in the Mexican Amateur and represented his country in both the South American Amateur Team Championship in Ecuador and the Eisenhower Trophy in Singapore.
