Fortlage is making his fifth Championship start in 2026. He has top-15 finishes in each of the past three editions of the Latin America Amateur. In 2025, he won two World Amateur Golf Ranking events, finished third in the South American Amateur in Chile and represented his country in the Eisenhower Trophy in Singapore. The University of Arkansas sophomore also recorded two top-10 finishes for his team during the fall schedule.
