Peña is making his second Championship start. In 2024, he won the Caribbean Junior Championship in Jamaica, Mack Champ Invitational in Texas, Puerto Rico Island Junior Championship and the AJGA’s Puerto Rico Junior Championship. He also finished fourth in the Underrated Tour’s Curry Cup standings, made his PGA Tour debut in the Puerto Rico Open and competed in the U.S. Junior Amateur last year. In 2023, he finished fifth in the Caribbean Amateur Championship in Trinidad and Tobago and represented Puerto Rico in the Toyota Junior World Cup in Japan.
