Delgado is making his fifth Championship start in 2026. In the 2019 Latin America Amateur at the age of 17, he opened with rounds of 69-68 to lead after 36 holes at Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic. In 2025, he had one win and seven top-10 finishes in World Amateur Golf Ranking events. He finished runner-up in the 2024 Caribbean Amateur Championship and represented his country in the 2022 Eisenhower Trophy in France.
