Vazquez Colina is making his second Championship start. In 2024, he won a World Amateur Golf Ranking event in Mexico, finished T-10 in the Mexican Amateur and competed in the U.S. Mid-Amateur. In 2022, he reached the quarterfinals of the Mexican Mid-Amateur.
