Restrepo is making his second Championship start in 2026. In 2025, he won the South American Junior Championship in Paraguay and shared medalist honors in the Toyota Junior World Cup in Japan with 2025 Asia-Pacific Amateur runner-up Taisei Nagasaki. He also finished third in the Junior Orange Bowl Invitational in Florida, reached the round of 32 in the U.S. Junior Amateur in Texas and represented his country in the Eisenhower Trophy in Singapore.
