Roye is making his second Championship start. In 2024, he won the Trinidad and Tobago Amateur Open by nine strokes and the Jamaican National Amateur by four strokes. In 2023, he had six top-12 finishes in World Amateur Golf Ranking events, including sixth in the Barbados Amateur Open and T-10 in the Caribbean Amateur Championship in Trinidad and Tobago.
