Neira is making his fourth Championship start. In 2024, he reached the Round of 16 in the Venezuelan National Match Play. In 2023, he won a World Amateur Golf Ranking event in Venezuela and finished 19th in both the Junior Orange Bowl in Florida and the Venezuelan Open. He won five World Amateur Golf Ranking events in 2022, including the Venezuelan National Junior Championship.
