Cabrera Franco is making his fifth Championship start in 2026. In 2025, he had three wins and 10 top-10 finishes in World Amateur Golf Ranking events, including seventh in the South American Junior Championship in Paraguay. He also represented his country in the South American Amateur Team Championship in Ecuador last year. His uncle, Carlos Franco, won four times on the PGA Tour and was a member of the International team in the Presidents Cup in both 1998 and 2000.
