Loureiro is making his fourth Championship start. He has finished inside the top 30 in each of the past three years. In February, he won the Argentine Amateur Championship one year after finishing runner-up and added that title to his victories in the Argentine Stroke Play in 2021 and 2022 and the Argentine Junior Championship in 2021. He won the Porter Cup in New York in 2023 and represented his country in the Eisenhower Trophy in France in 2022.
