Reyes is making his seventh Championship start. In 2024, he won the Uruguayan National Stroke Play and in 2023, his eight top-10 finishes in World Amateur Golf Ranking events included both the National Stroke Play and Match Play championships of Uruguay. In September 2022, he won the club championship at the Alister Mackenzie-designed Uruguay Golf Club as part of its 100th anniversary celebration.
