Paz Valdes is making his fifth Championship start in 2026. He finished inside the top 15 in the Latin America Amateur in 2022 in the Dominican Republic and in 2024 in Panama. In 2025, the University of Missouri senior won a World Amateur Golf Ranking event in Venezuela and started his fourth collegiate season with two top-25 finishes for his team in the fall schedule, including 12th in the Canadian Collegiate Invitational.
